Three Exercises to Improve Your Vision (written for Improve Vision Exercises)
Want to improve your eyesight? Take note of three simple exercises that you can do every day to restore your eyesight. The following three exercises will reduce strain on your eyes, which is the main cause for poor vision.
* The Spot Eye Exercise
Focus on a period or a comma on a piece of paper until it is very clear. Then, close your eye for a minute or so to let them relax. Then, open your eyes and let them wander all over the page slowly while blinking. Close your eyes again and imagine the period or comma, open your eyes again and view that point. It should appear more clearly now. Your eyes, because of this exercise, should be loosened and relaxed.
* Word Eye Exercise
Open any book and choose a word. Stare at the word and each of its letters. Memorize that word, and then really stare at it until it becomes blurry. Close your eyes, and then open them again. Move your eyes back to the word and view each letter. Blink gently, and see that the word is more clear.
* The Double Vision Eye Exercises
Often when you look at an object, only one eye is working. Squinting causes both eyes to work and your vision to increase a little, but it also strains your eyes. Try this exercise. Pick and object and focus on it in a relaxed manner. Think about relaxing your eyes and allowing both eyes to focus on the object. You will slowly gain more ability for your eyes to work together.
Simple and Natural Methods of Improving Eyesight
Natural methods of improving your eyesight are becoming more popular. And they should be, as they do work. Practice these natural methods to improve your vision with patience, and you will see results.
" Palming. Place warm cupped palms over your eyes as often as you'd like. Close your eyes and don't let any light into your eyes. Practice this every day for several minutes, and you will benefit greatly. Your eyes will be refreshed, and your eye muscles will be restored.
" Exercise your eyes by looking all the way up, all the way down, all the way to the right, and all the way to the left-resting some in between each direction. Don't wear your glasses or lenses often as they can serve as a crutch. Strengthen your eye muscles intentionally.
" Lastly, allow sunlight into your eye. Sun exposure can brighten your eyes and relax them too. Animals who live in a dark environment have bad vision. Don't be afraid to let sunlight into your eyes.
Persist in natural ways to improve your eyesight, and you will see results over time.
You Don't Have to Wear Glasses or Contacts
Being able to see is such an integral part of our day, each and every day. Almost everything we do, we do best if we can see. Thus, eyesight is a terrible thing to lose. And, if there are some simple exercises that you can do to maintain good eyesight or improve your impaired vision, would you consider doing them?
Today, however, instead of us walking around exercising our eyes, many of us wear glasses or contacts to do our day-to-day activities. Glasses and contacts act merely as patches for our impaired vision. Instead, we could be proactive about the health of our eyes by learning and practicing some natural techniques to improve the health of our eyes.
Your eye muscles are no different than all the other muscles in your body. If you train them well, you can improve your vision and not need glasses or contacts.
Thank goodness, of course, that glasses and contacts are available. Many people are unaware of any other option, and to walk around not seeing well could definitely cause a problem. And typically, if a person starts to notice a change in their eyesight for the worse, they will go to an eye doctor for an exam and probably receive a prescription for their glasses or contacts.
But, we do not treat other muscles in our body that way. If we strain a hamstring muscle or a back muscle, we rest it, rehab it, and work to strengthen it. Could you do this for your eyes? Of course you could! Look at this list of simple eye exercises that could set you on a track for restored vision: palming, focusing, eye circles, eye massages, sunning, scanning, splashing, and wearing glasses or contacts that are actually not strong enough for you. All of these are ideas for how to both relax and strengthen your eye muscles that will guide you to improved vision!
